San Jose Intl Airport/SJO/.................. 75km Catch domestic flight from San Jose airport SJO. Nature Air has daily flights to La Fortuna from the Tobias Bolanos International Airport in Pavas a short distance from downtown San Jose. The flight takes 30 minutes and allows glimpses of the Arenal volcano. From the airport, head to the WEST, the PAN AMERICAN road, with a lot of traffic. After 45-60 min, leave the highway for SAN RAMON. You can cross the town straight on, and at the end of the main street, turn left, and at the traffic lights there turn to the right, heading North. You pass the Hospital of San Ramon, and from now on you have a quiet mountain road with nearly no traffic. It takes about 45 min from San Ramon to BAJO RODRIGUEZ. At the free toll house, turn to the right, after 5 miles you pass two special bridges, You are in SANTA CLARA now. At the soccer field turn to the LEFT. A fine road August 2007 will lead you to LA FORTUNA. Be aware, there are some dangerous curves of 90 degrees. There you will find the resort.Room Descriptions
