From San Jose airport /SJO / drive north west towards Heridia. Then after Heridia continue north west towards San Miguel. At Miguel, you will turn left and continue north west towards aguas Zarcas and then a left turn continuing west and slightly south towards Ciudad Quesada. From Ciudad Quesada, you journey you go right and north west towards florencia and continuing north west on to el Tanque. From here it is due west and a short drive to Fortuna de San Carlos.
