The Guanacaste Lodge Hotel is a five minutes walk to the the Playa Portrero and 15 minutes to the famous white sand beach of Playa Flamingo. The Hotel is near of popular beaches like Coco, Hermosa, Ocotal, Tamarindo, Potrero, Grande, Flamingo, Ostional, Conchal, Sïÿýïÿýïÿýmara, among others. Good places for surfing are: Playa Grande, Potrero Grande, Naranjo, Tamarindo, Langosta, Avellanas, Negra and Nosara. The attached Rancho Grande Restaurant/Bar serves Tico, Mexican, and Spanish dishes in a huge, open rancho with handmade wooden furniture.
